60. Kensington Gardens

As it’s my last week in London before I go home for the summer holidays, I went on a walk in a few of my favourite areas yesterday. I took the tube to South Kensington and got a coffee, before I walked trought Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and then down to Covent Garden. The sun was shining and it was really lovely!

55. Hyde Park

London’s been absolutely amazing these last few days. I haven’t been here that long, but it was 22 degrees in the shade yesterday, and it’s supposed to be even warmer today. How great is that!?

Erin and I went to central after finishing some work, bought food and drinks and had a little mini picnic in Hyde Park. I definitely think the parks are one of London’s main perks, and we stayed and chilled for quite a few hours. Absolutely loving this weather and I can’t wait for summer to arrive!

21. First Sunday of Advent

Hi!

I had such a great day yesterday! I’m lucky enough to have my best friend living in London, and even though we live quite far away from each other we try too meet up frequently. Yesterday we went to “Sjømannskirken”, a norwegian church abroad to get norwegian waffles, and let me tell you, waffles have never tasted better. After that we went to Hyde Park and walked around, and we also popped into Winter Wonderland. As it was a Sunday it was absolutely packed, so we left quickly and went on a hunt for a nice place to eat. We ended up at Le Pain, a really cute restaurant/cafe (we couldn’t quite decide what it was) and we both ordered an amazing sandwich with chicken, mozzarella cheese and aioli. It was so delicious.

I had an amazing sunday with my amazing best friend, and I’m so happy that she’s living in the same country as me, let alone the same city. Days with my closest friends and family are the days I’m at my happiest. Even though the grass is green still and the leafs hasn’t fallen off the trees, it’s such a christmassy feeling around London. There’s christmas lights and pretty decorations everywhere, and I’ve even gotten some decorations up in my room. I’m so excited for christmas, and the fact that it’s the 1st of December today, means it’s only 19 days until I go home. That makes me so happy!!
