41. Afternoon Tea at Liberty

Hi!

Afternoon Tea is such a british tradition, and being as touristy as we (read:my brother and my dad) are, we wanted to do it before they left. My dad’s an arcitecht so he’s obviously very interested in architecture and buildings, so I wanted to show him Liberty. It’s such a cool building, both inside and outside, and the stuff they sell is really nice as well, at least most of it!

Cafe Liberty serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as afternoon tea from 3pm on weekdays. We had a shared “Afternoon Tea” that included tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes, and as well as that we ordered a delicious carrot cake. As I don’t drink tea I had a latte, and a pressed apple juice, and let me tell you, that food was good.

You can have afternoon tea at lots of different places around London, both at hotels and some cafés, but I would definitely recommend the “Cafe Liberty”, it was delicious!
