54. Easter Holiday

I’m home on easter holiday so I apologise for the lack of blogging. When I’m home I try to be with my family and friends as much as possible (obviously), and that’s why I haven’t blogged. I haven’t taken as many photos either, and as you know I don’t like blog posts without photos haha! I don’t really have anything exciting to blog about now either, but I thought I’d let you know why there haven’t been anything posted here for a while. I’m home for another week, and then I’m going back to London to finish this year of university. How weird is that?

53. Sam Smith

Before I went home on easter holiday, my best friend Nina and I went to see Sam Smith at O2 Brixton Academy. Let me tell you one thing, if you ever get the chance to see that man live, don’t miss it. He is absolutely incredible!! He was so cute and smiley and happy, and the atmoshphere was awesome. And that voice.. I don’t understand how someone can be so good, he sounds exactly like he does on the album.

The photos are taken with an iPhone, so I apologise for the quality..

52. Friends

Over the weekend, after my mum had been here for a few days, my (our) friends Silje and Ingrid came to visit Nina and I. We did loads of fun stuff, on Saturday night we went out in Soho and on Sunday we went to Brick Lane and Shoreditch. We had lunch/dinner at The Breakfast Club (the perfect hangover cure) and then we watched the La Liga football game between Barcelona and Real Madrid in a nice, little pub. Definitely a good week/weekend!

Now I’m sat in my room doing some uni work, and looking forward to the weekend. On Friday I’m going to a Sam Smith concert and on Saturday I’m going home for easter. So excited!!

51. Boring Weekend

This weekend (with the exception of Friday night) has been so extremely boring. I’ve been doing work pretty much the whole time, writing essays, doing research for a presentation and doing research for another essay. Haven’t really had anything to blog about and I don’t really know what to write now either. However, all the work I’ve done has been for a purpose, tomorrow my mum is coming to visit!!! I’m so excited and I can’t wait to show her around the London that I’ve grown to love, and not just the typical touristy places. Another great thing is that easter break is only two weeks away, and I can’t wait to get home and relax for a few days.

50. The Script

Yesterday I went to The Script’s concert at the O2 Arena with a few of my friends. I absolutely loved The Script when I was younger, especially the two first albums with songs like Breakeven, Man Who Can’t Be Moved and We Cry. My absolute favourite song of theirs is For The First Time and when they played that live yesterday it was amazing.

The concert was so good and Danny was so funny, he even called a random girl’s ex boyfriend and sang Nothing down the phone to him. Their light show was really good as well and I don’t know why, but I’m a sucker for good light shows at concerts. I love live music and I love the atmosphere at concerts, so this was definitely a good way to start the weekend. Speaking of weekend, I’m just going to do uni work all weekend, I’ve got so much to do before my mum arrives on Tuesday.

49. Notting Hill

Saturday was absolutely glorious here! The sun was shining and it was 15 (!!) degrees outside, making it possible to walk around with only a cardigan without freexing to death. I met up with Chelsea, Sandra and Kristin at 11AM and we went to Primrose Hill, walked trough Regent Park and then took the tube to Notting Hill. I’ve never been to Notting Hill before, but the area is so cute. Pastel coloured houses, pretty buildings and cute cafees. The Portobello Market was also a cool thing to have seen, altough I would recommend going during the week as it was absolutely packed.

46. Regent Park

Hi!

As you might have noticed, I love parks. They’re my happy place, and I absolutely love them, and Regent Park is nothing less than beautiful. Especially if the weather is sunny and warm. During the summer, I think Regent Park even has their own rose garden, which I definitely need to visit.

45. Ponti’s

Hi!

After walking around in the sun for a few hours last wednesday, Sara, Elin and I got really hungry, so we ended up at a really cute Italian restaurant in Regent Street called Ponti’s. I’d never heard of it before, but the food and place looked nice so we took a chance, and we didn’t regret it.

The place was so nice and the waitress we had was super lovely, and the food was delicious. I ordered a chicken and pesto pizza (I never really eat pizza except if it’s Domino’s haha) and it was soo good. Sara had a chicken and Elin had lasagna, and they weren’t dissapointed either, and the prices weren’t too bad, so I’d definitely it.
